The Malta Government Network uses “cookies” to identify to the web server which user is making what request. e-ID
The aim of the e-ID and the digital certificate is to protect that data and enable secure access by the relevant and trustworthy parties. Access to personal information is restricted to the owners of the data and to those eGoverment service providers which have been appointed as delegates. The processing of the information during e-Government services transactions will also be at the discretion of the individual and/or the delegate.
